On Saturday 29th January 2011 'The Morning Line,' Channel 4's racing magazine programme, went on air with a renewed format and refreshed look.

This new look gives the programme a brand new set, in colours of cyan and rust, which brings it in line with the graphics I implemented with Viz Artist and that have been used on the show for over 10 months now.

Along side the new look there will also be new features, such as, live two way interview with trainers in their stables using Skype technology and even a weekly guest quiz with the aim to top the leaderboard. The new features are, of course, backed up by new graphics that also have a few new 'Morning Line' elements to enhance their look.

One other innovation will be the enhanced communication with the viewers, where their voice can be heard about today's racing, through email and social media such as Twitter. Messages can either be relayed by the presenter or displayed on screen on a variety of crawler graphics.

I implemented these new graphics, designed by David Phelan of Mode Vision Ltd, using VizRT using a blend of Viz Artist, Trio, DataPool and Adobe Photoshop.

'The Morning Line' and 'Channel 4 Racing' are broadcast on Saturday mornings and afternoons plus on most major race days throughout the whole year.
